國立歷史博物館《史博叢刊》著眼於國內外學者的藝文專論，珠玉琳琅，各成一家之言。學術為天下公器，博物館除正具有展示教育之使命外，也兼具實證與理論研究之功能，《史博叢刊75 臺灣古建築特色》本書作者李乾朗以歷年在台灣建築之研究之文，集結成書。內容包括臺灣建築文化資產的特質與保存發展―以古蹟與歷史建築為例、台灣古蹟之美、台灣十大廟宇、台灣民居的封壁藝術等等

The National Museum of History’s “Historical Research Series” focuses on scholarly essays on art and literature from both domestic and international scholars, offering a wealth of insightful and original perspectives. Scholarship is a public good, and museums, in addition to their mission of exhibition and education, also serve the function of empirical and theoretical research. “Historical Research Series 75: The Characteristics of Ancient Taiwanese Architecture,” authored by Li Gan-lang, compiles his research on Taiwanese architecture over the years. The content includes the characteristics and preservation and development of Taiwan’s architectural cultural assets—taking ancient sites and historical buildings as examples, the beauty of Taiwan’s historical sites, Taiwan’s ten major temples, and the wall-sealing art of Taiwanese vernacular architecture, among other topics.
